Rubble Tile goes to the Theater
Large format commercial tiles from Rubble Tile debut at the Ordway
Designed by HGA Architects, the expansion of architect Ben Thompson’s iconic St. Paul performance space incorporates not only a new concert hall but also new lobbies, and toilet rooms where large format commercial tiles from Rubble Tile take the stage. We are thrilled to be a part of the Ordway’s historic renovation.
2,300 square feet of Mosa Terra Maestricht large format floor tiles grace the lobby of the remodeled Ordway in St. Paul, MN
Tile contractor CD Tile & Stone cut 18ʺ square Terra Maestricht tiles into 9ʺ x 18ʺ large format planks to cover the floor of the Ordway’s new lobby. These stoney porcelain tiles have a relief finish that gives them a realistic appearance.
Not only does this texture look great, it also gives the floor more traction – ideal for when one-thousand people track in snowy boots or wet shoes.
Viva Miroir glossy wall tiles imbue even the humble toilet with elegance and panache
From the high fashion European tile manufacturer Viva, these glossy wall tiles fit perfectly in this modest and modern bathroom. The Voile colorway, featured in this commercial installation, has the calm and neutral look of linen, which perfectly compliments the natural stone texture and strong linear design of the counter.
