Rubble Tile’s New Porcelain Series Fuses Classic & Modern

Natural marble tile is a classic, sophisticated choice for your residential or commercial project. Some of what makes marble’s organic beauty so appealing are its imperfections, random veining, and shade variation. But like all natural flooring or wall covering, stone requires some extra care and maintenance to keep it from staining or scratching.
Authentic Marble-Look Porcelain Tile
For years porcelain tile manufacturers have been producing marble-replica series, in an attempt to offer a more durable product that’s also priced more competitively than marble. The problem was, many of these marble-look tiles weren’t up to the standards of a lot of designers.
At last, in stepped Milestone with their marble-look porcelain series, Luxury. These design-forward tiles offer an incredibly realistic marble feel, without being prone to scratching or staining. In addition to being more durable than natural stone tile, porcelain is really low-maintenance. This is what makes Luxury a better candidate for high wear-and-tear areas such kitchens, entryways, and commercial spaces like lobbies and restaurants.
The Luxury Collection Available Through Rubble Tile
The line itself consists of five colors designed to fuse the timeless look of marble with a contemporary touch in residential and commercial spaces. The classic marble colors in the Luxury collection include Nero Marquina, Calacatta, Crema Marfil, Amani Grey and Amani Bronze.
At Rubble Tile we’ve helped solve countless design challenges, and this collection is no exception. That’s because Nero Marquina, or any other black marble with a white vein, has been very hard to find for several years. Milestone’s version fills the void, and at the same time is more durable and needs far less maintenance.
The three sizes, 12×24, 24×24, and 24×48, enhance the contemporary vibe of any space and offer an abundance of architectural possibilities. On the commercial side, Luxury’s shapes and sizes work well in large areas such as in hotels and hospitals, and in public buildings like libraries or churches. All sizes and shapes are rectified, giving the option of a very tight grout joint that delivers even more of that natural stone look.
All colors and sizes are available in both the polished and the honed finish. The honed option is more slip-resistant, so it’s often used on the floor and paired with the elegant polished look for the walls.
One very distinctive addition to the Luxury collection is a 3″ hex mosaic that comes on sheets, either honed or polished in all colors and both finishes.
The hex shape is a perfect example of a shape and pattern that is trending and completely classic at the same time.
And now you can have the gorgeous look of marble hex on the floor or backsplash but with the low maintenance and peace of mind that porcelain brings.
