Using an eclectic combination of natural textures and patterns, Lynne Shears, ASID infused this master bathroom with earthy simplicity and casual elegance. Blue glass in the window and shower sparkles against a mix of stone, porcelain and marble tile.
Wall and backsplash: Multi-colored ledger stone. | Floor: copper metallic 6 x 24 inch porcelain stoneware tiles with light grey grout.
Shower: A slender line of AlysEdwards Gigi Grovy Stix separates the large 12 x 12 marble wall tile from a soldier course of metallic plank. The smooth, flat stones of the pebble-mosaic floor gently massage the feet.
The project was recently featured in a Star Tribune article: Basic master bath gets and Arts and Crafts-inspired makeover. See more master bathrooms by White Crane Construction, or visit our tile gallery for more inspiration.
